Training & Lesson Program

Hello! My name is Nikki Slack.   I am a student at North Dakota State University.  I will be offering riding lessons and training

 right here at Sand Hills Equine Center!  I am planning

on being here starting in May.  I will be offering horse    

training and riding lessons.

            I have been riding and taking lesson since I was 7

years old.  My instructor required 1 year of riding

bareback for all her beginner students, so at a young age

I learned to ride with a deep and balanced seat.  I also

have been showing and competing over the last 7 years. 

            My newest passion has been giving riding lessons

and training horses.  I have been doing this over the past

3 years and I love it!  I really enjoy working with students of ALL  AGES  AND  EXPERIENCE levels and the different horses they bring me! J 

I offer instruction in showing aspects such as horsemanship, and western pleasure, equitation, and hunter under saddle, beginner  jumping, showmanship, and trail.  I also have experience working with the young, or green horse, and using Parelli (certified level 2) and natural horsemanship.  Besides a competitive   

centered instruction, I also teach proper position and the fundamentals of riding and caring for a horse.  Lessons are $30/hour.  Full time training is

                                                       $375/month, and Part time is $250/month.
